The Rt Hon The Lord Provost of Glasgow, the Mayor of Barga, and the Trustees of Italian Scotland request the pleasure of your company on Saturday September 19 in the Banqueting Hall of the City Chambers, George Square, Glasgow, for Una sera all’Opera, presented by the Associazione Musicale Il Serchio delle Muse.

Following the amazing success of the Italian opera night we held two years ago in the City Chambers, which saw 300 people enjoy a wonderful selection of popular classical arias and instrumental music, Italian Scotland, in association with Glasgow City Council, is delighted to announce that a similar event is planned for next month.

The hour-long concert will feature tenor Davide Piaggio, soprano Marta Mari, baritone Nicola Farnesi, pianist Massimo Salotti and Glasgow (and Italy’s) very own William Moriconi on oboe. It will be followed by a rinfresco.

The event is free but tickets are limited. Please only reserve tickets if you are sure to attend as it would be unfair to take tickets and deprive others if they are not going to be used.
